TuneTree is hosted at the [http://www.ibiblio.org Ibiblio] project at UNC-CH, on [http://www.redhat.com RedHat] Linux servers! The machine at Ibiblio is capped to "only" 20Mb/s, and also hosts other SHN sites including [http://ibiblio.org/jamz Jamz]. Now capped to 80/80 simultaneous ftp/http logins, for a total of 160 simultaneous logins. This should help alleviate the slow-speed problems. Let me know if this user cap doesn't work for you.
