The etree.org ServerTeam put this site up in the hope that it would serve the etree.org community better than the [old web site] does. We are all very busy and the content on etree.org has suffered because of it. This wiki may ultimately replace some of the current etree.org web site. By putting this site up, we hope the community will keep the content updated with the most recent information.

These are some guidelines for changes that we feel are appropriate for this site:

• EtreeFaq Questions and answers - This part of the current site is the most outdated. The more information you can put in the faq, the better.
• ShnLinks - External links to other sites that provide taping resources. Please add any relevent taping or trading links here.
• ProjectPage Trading related projects - If you have a good project that would be beneficial to the community, we encourage you to try this site to see if it will work for it.

These are examples of changes that we feel are not appropriate:

• Using the site like a messageboard - It is tempting to post personal announcements on something this open. We feel this is totally outside the scope of the project. Please don't post personal announcements of any sort. Visit our [web forums] instead.
• Flaming - This site sets up a page for anyone that sets up their preferences. If you have a grudge against someone that has a page here, address it with them directly rather than editing their profile here.
• Non-etree or non-trading related pages - Don't use this site to post things like jokes, personal messages, etc. For a wiki environment with a broader, non-etree scope, you may want to visit [Wikipedia] or [Meatball] instead.
